HOME CHILDREN CANADA BHC REGISTRY

How Our Information is Collected

The information in the Home Children Canada Registry comes from multiple valuable sources. One of our most treasured sources is the descendants of Home Children, who often share personal stories and photos, adding a personal touch to the records.

Home Children Canada has partnered with Find My Past to create a comprehensive and ever-growing index of British Home Children (BHC) related information. This valuable resource is available to the public at no cost with a general membership. Over 27,000 inspection reports have already been transcribed and made accessible.

PLEASE ADD IN THE CENSUS DETAILS - THIS IS VALUABLE INFORMATION WHICH NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRY!
